Andreas Unterweger

Andreas Unterweger, born 1978 in Graz, Austria, lives in Leibnitz. His stories and poems tell of the big in the small – sometimes ironic, sometimes melancholic, often romantic, and usually all at once. Long regarded as a poet who writes novels, Unterweger, editor of “manuskripte“ (since 2020), is publishing his first poetry collection this year, “Haus ohne Türen“. Previously, the novel, “So long, Annemarie“ (2022), both by Droschl. He was honoured with the Literature Prize of the Graz Academy (2009) and the manuskripte Prize of the Province of Styria (2016).
