Jordan Lee Schnee

Jordan Lee Schnee, born 1990 in Boston, Massachusetts, is a German-American writer. He is doing his Ph.D and teaches English literature at Freie Universität Berlin. Furthermore, he curates readings of minorised poetry at Haus für Poesie. Schnee currently writes in English and Yiddish and translates from Spanish. His published works include a volume of prose “Dispatches from the Southern Conelands” (2025) and volumes of poetry, most recently “Unapprehension / Entfassung” (2019 / 2021) published by Propeller Berlin. Major translations include “Rockabilly” by Mike Wilson (Diaphanes, Berlin/Zurich, 2018) and “Some Dollars” by Wáshington Cucurto (ed., Eloísa Cartonera, Buenos Aires, 2015).
