Born in Carinthia and raised in Vienna, Max Bogner has always been interested in the in-between and has thus been exposed to a variety of activities, places and realities. His work combines elements of performance, sound architecture and dance and at the same time is dedicated to decoding the underlying power structures within language. The dialectic that exists between being and becoming characterises Bogner's work to the present day.
