Margret Kreidl
Margret Kreidl, born in Salzburg in 1964, is a freelance writer based in Vienna. She works across poetry, prose, plays, librettos, and radio dramas. How does one move from the family couch to the lawn corridor? Who sings the praises of the rubbing fruit? What role does Doctor Winnetou play in a poem? Her recent publications include „Wien, Schwedenplatz. “, (Polyphon, 2023, co-edited with Lucas Cejpek) and „Mehr Frauen als Antworten. Poems with Footnotes“ (2023). In 2024, Margret Kreidl was awarded the H. C. Artmann Prize by the City of Vienna.
