Walle Sayer
Walter-Hermann "Walle" Sayer, born on September 13, 1960, in Bierlingen, currently resides in Horb am Neckar. He writes poetry and prose. After finishing school, he completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk but soon escaped into a one-year internship at a kindergarten. This marked the beginning of his years of learning and wandering: civil service, odd jobs, thirteen semesters in various pubs, teaching German in an asylum shelter, night shifts in a nursing home, and working as a waiter to make ends meet. He is a member of the Association of German Writers and the PEN Center Germany.
