Xu Yi (叙矣)

Xu Yi (叙矣), born in 1997 in Guangdong, China, currently lives in Beijing. His poetry is characterized by an inventive deconstruction of traditional Chinese poetic forms, employing linguistic experimentation and a radical reimagining of imagery. Xu Yi’s works explore themes of absurdity in contemporary life and existential anxiety, and have influenced a younger generation of poets in China.
