HAUS FÜR POESIE

Yoko Tawada, born 1960 in Tokyo, Japan, lived in Hamburg from 1982 to 2006, since 2006 based in Berlin. She has been a member of the German Academy for Language and Poetry since 2012. Yoko Tawada writes in German and Japanese. In 2024 she was awarded the prize of the Japanese Academy of Arts.
