Silence can be destructive. We keep silent about pain, about love, about the wounds we've suffered. That silence doesn't disappear—it settles in our bodies. In this workshop, we will gently and courageously turn towards that silence to find out what has been left unsaid, how to break through it and give it shape through writing.

Monika Herceg, born in 1990 in Sisak (Croatia), is a poet, playwright, and feminist activist. She lives in Zagreb and has received numerous international awards, including the Fierce Woman Award (2021), the CEI Award for Young Authors (2024), and the title of European Poet of Freedom (2023). Her works have been translated into many languages.
