The mother tongue of 400 million people and the official language in 21 countries, Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and the focus of the poesiefestival berlin 2005. For VERSschmuggel, the poesiefestival berlin is gathering some of the most important Spanish-speaking poets whose work will be translated by German-speaking poets and vice versa. The poets will present the results of this workshop on June 21st and 22nd 2005 in HAU 2.
