Rhythm, dance, poetic texts: Rap, today’s most popular form of poetry. The enthusiasm for Hip-Hop has sparked a true literary revolution that branched out long ago from the USA, its land of origin. At Beat-‘n’-Word the masters are at work:  the franco-algerian group MBS (Le micro brise le silence); the Israeli Sha’anan David Streett; and, for the first time in Germany, the ‘Godfathers of rap’, The Last Poets from New York.
